1989 Red Chrysler Lebaron Convertible for sale, Power Windows & Locks, hideaway headlights, Dark Grey Leather seats- It's a nice car but has issues both mechanically and with the body (has been sitting a few years now)- but I think it might be possible to bring it back into shape with a bit of work. Mechanically it has a 2.5L non-turbo 4 cylinder engine; will need at a minimum a new battery (has a worn out one in it currently to work the power accessory), freeze plugs need to be replaced (the anti-freeze popped them out a couple winters ago) and the cylinder head gasket needs to be replaced- possibly more but the engine does crank over when you turn the key and when it was running there WASN'T any rod noise or knocking, ran well up until the gasket went. The body some issues as well: the last time the top was down it didn't quite make it up all the way (as shown in pictures it got about 80-90% of the way before the power top stopped, don't know if its the switch or cylinder- was going to fix & replace the top after I got it running), the doors alignment sagged a bit causing some denting on front fenders when they were opened again, has some other misc. dings and dents on body. Don't have the time or money to fix it but also don't want it to go to rot & ruin. So it is what it is, an As-Is project Convertible for only $275- 1st person with cash in hand takes it.
