Used 1998 Coachmen Saratoga TB Campervan! <90K miles, easy to drive! -... for sale in Forest Hills, NY

Hard to find Coachmen Camper Van; Dodge RAM 3500 chassis, 8 cylinder gas engine, automatic transmission,
Drives like a van, camps like an RV ! Currently located in NYC, where it is hard to find a camper van. We bought this van earlier this year from a car dealer in Florida. It was given a thorough service and new tires then, and the professional driver who drove it to us from Florida said it was in great condition--ready to drive cross country! During the pandemic, we have enjoyed trips through Acadia National Park in Maine, Lake George and Mystic CT in our own safe van! Now we are ready to pass it on.

Sleeping accommodates one large bed or 2 singles, portable table also included.
Wet Bathroom (Toilet and Shower in one closet). We removed the Thetford toilet and replaced it with a self containing one (to avoid having to manage the black water tank). We have the original if you want to put it back or we can give you a new self containing toilet which we found very easy to handle. We also removed the (very old) tv/vcr for more headspace, again we still have the components if you wish to put it back.
8 Seatbelts (2 in the front, 6 on two bench seats)

We want the buyer to be happy, so we are listing all minor issues we can think of: the transmission overheated light goes on after long drives. We have had this checked out by a licensed mechanic who ran it through the computer system and reported that this is a signal malfunction (not overheating) and is common with vans that have the "overdrive" function. He suggests that the solution is simply to turn off the overdrive function. Also, we replaced the bench cushions with new foam except for one bolster, when we ran out of foam (it made no difference to our family of 5) so that bolster is underfilled. One of the head supports in the front is missing. There is a small rust spot on the top rim of one of the doors. The van did not come with any manuals unfortunately.
