Used 2000 Mercedes SL500 SL 500 for sale in Kirkland, WA
Vehicle Description
The first owner was a 75 year old woman that could no longer easily exit the car and traded it in on a Mercedes ML. My wife is now a fit 73, but her friends are having trouble getting in and out of it. History repeats.
Major servicing has been done by the Bellevue dealer or at Parkplace. The front brakes, water pump, heater fan, and battery have been recently replaced. The windshield has been replaced with a OEM unit and shows little wear. The drivetrain is solid (literally little old lady driven). Tires have some life left, but will need replacement soon. You can choose the brand and type. Everything works including the heated seats.
Except for minor driver area wear the interior is like new. The exterior is excellent. However, the front end was professionally repaired after it was backed into. No dents, just a couple minor scratches and rock chips that must be pointed out to notice.
The soft top is tan, and in good condition. The car comes with a garage ceiling block and tackle/rack system to easily remove and store the hardtop, plus a cloth bag to store it in if you can’t use the ceiling system. Included are color matched MB carpet mats and MB rubber mats for the winter.
This classic older body style of 500SL is sought after for its build quality, and is appreciating in value, Really low mileage garage queens are being offered in the mid twenties.
