This truck spent most of its life down south. I bought it out of NC, it was previously owned in New Mexico. There is absolutely no rot even starting on this truck, the paint is not top notch, there are some clear coat issues, chips, small dents, but NO RUST! I have had the frame, door insides, and rocker insides oiled to prevent it from starting. The truck runs flawlessly and is very quick!
Here is a list of mods I did to the truck since I bought it less than a year ago, before that it was pretty much stock.
To the best of my knowledge it does not have a 53 block.
