Used 2002 Ford SVT Focus for sale in Wilmer, AL
Vehicle Description
Great little sports car, a true hot hatch.
190k miles, engine and trans replaced at 160k miles due to broken timing belt.
Six speed Getrag manual transmission.
Cosworth-tuned, and FocusPower built, 2.0L Zetec naturally aspirated 4 cylinder. Has been built to withstand a turbocharger, however has never had one mounted.
Never raced. Adult owned. Runs and drives well.
I was planning on replacing the water pump and timing belt at 200k miles, so they are included.
I am selling because my life has changed significantly in the past year, and unfortunately, I cannot work out a way to keep this car.
It is not my daily driver, however I do drive it at least once a week, weather permitting.
It runs excellent, no warning lights on. A/C was rebuilt in the fall and blows cold. Kenwood double-DIN touchscreen works perfectly. Set up for 10" sub.
Everything works great, except the sunroof needs to be reset by a Ford dealer after I changed the battery. I just have not been into a city with one to get it done. I may have it done soon.
I have several totes of extra parts for the car, and service records since new.
There are some dings and flaky clearcoat on the exterior, but the car looks sharp and is very presentable. Interior is in excellent condition, never smoked in.
