Used 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe - price reduced for sale in Allison Park, PA

It has one mechanical problem that might be a cheap fix, but I can't find the problem. Several years ago the car would experience an engine surge. I would come to a stop light and the RPMs would all of a sudden go way up without me touching the gas pedal. I would shut the car off and let it sit for ten minutes - then everything was fine again. It was scary. I took it to several mechanics and had several parts replaced like the throttle position sensor and the idle speed actuator. Also had the cruise control disabled. That seems to fix it. No problems for about one and a half years. Then last week it started happening again. So I took it to my mechanic and spent several hundred dollars on diagnostics, but he could not locate the problem. So I am selling it as is - with this unknown problem causing an intermittent RPM surge. It might be a cheap fix or might not be. The buyer is taking a risk so I am not asking much for the car. Feel free to bring a mechanic over to inspect the car at your own expense. If we take it for a test drive, I insist on driving, because I know how to safely handle the car if the surge occurs.
The title status is "rebuilt" because I bought it from a guy who seeks out Santa Fes that were in an accident but can be easily repaired. He replace the passenger front door of my car and it was fine. That is why the ignition key will open the driver side door but will not open the passenger side door.
