Vehicle Description
1963 Ford F-100 Pickup comes with original owner's manual, service manual, period dealer's materials and photos of handwritten maintenance logs kept by the previous owner. The "Deluxe" trim extends the full length of the tuck accenting the original Rangoon Red paint (paint gauge verified across vast majority of body). Finish is typical of a 58 year old truck with original finish and adds to the character and allure of this survivor classic. It is powered by a 292ci V8 engine and backed by a rebuilt 4 speed manual transmission. Modifications include a 4v Edelbrook carburetor on a 292 4v intake manifold from a '57 T-Bird. Professionally fitted with new kingpins, rear leaf spring bushings, valve cover gaskets and a new oil pan gasket. Other recent upgrades include coil helper springs on the rear axle, new rear axle oil and housing gasket, valve covers, oil pan gaskets, transmission side cover gasket, transmission rear seal, transmission oil and side cover gaskets, valve adjustment, rear end housing gasket and oil, brakes including drums.
Included is a period correct GEM aluminum shell camper featuring jealousy side windows. All instruments, lights wipers etc. down to the cigarette lighter work. A painted bed with a full size spare. Wheels have been painted. Tires are new. A blast to drive even without creature comforts (i.e. no power steering). Perfect small town, farm eye grabber!
