2004 Toyota Matrix XRS, I love this car but it needs work. It is a 6 speed manual and fun to drive. I was told there is something wrong with the PCM (powertrain control module) and that it needs to be taken to a Toyota dealership to be fixed. Because of this issue, the car loses power and turns off when it goes beyond 3000rpms and I could only drive it about 45-50mph because of that. It still drives, but I would not take it on the highway and I'd get it fixed asap! It needs an oil change and will need to be registered. The alternator might be going out, too. I had to jump it and got it running but died again after I turned it off. The exterior condition is not great but not the worst, and the interior is pretty good. The back seats fold down completely flat and has great cargo space. High mileage, but Toyota's and Matrixes are known for going 200k and beyond. Kelley Blue Book has the 2004 Matrix at a 4.6 consumer rating. If I had the money to make the necessary fixes, I would keep this car forever!
I won't be available to show it until Saturday.
And just to reiterate - it's a standard transmission!
