Vehicle Description
- 4.3 liter V8 M113 engine with five-speed 722.6 automatic transmission, one of the most robust and reliable drivetrains Mercedes ever made.
- Simple, long-lived SOHC engine with about 280 hp
-Fully detailed with two-stage paint correction; replaced some interior parts that were not up to standard.
-All fluids changed (oil, transmission, coolant, brake, power steering, differential)
-All moving parts properly lubricated
-New Spark plugs and filters, new valve cover gasket, new battery
-Tires and brakes good. Previous owner replaced two front struts (proper Sachs) and steering wheel damper.
-Engine is smooth and powerful and the car needs nothing.
-Some wear as expected on a 20 year-old car but cosmetically and mechanically in nice condition.
In summary, this car is far from being a Mercedes on its death spiral into the junkyard. Car looks and drives great. It had the MB AMG appearance package which includes the AMG monoblock wheels.
Why do I sell? It is my favorite car in my MB collection but pending surgeries will make it impossible for me to take care of the cars for two years, so this one and another CLK (a 2008 CLK 550 also advertised here) and possibly an e class station wagon will have to go. A car that sits is a car that has damage.
