Used 02 GMC 2500HD 8.1/Allison A/T for sale in Weathersfield, VT
Vehicle Description
Good “bones”, but needs a home that will give it some TLC.
Pros:
• Frame is solid
• Motor and Tranny are strong/great condition
• Interior, all leather, Heated Seats, Heated mirrors - in good condition
• Exterior is fair
• Flowmaster exhaust
• I am including a Minute Man 1 Fisher plow with the truck - does the job!
Cons:
• Will need driver side fender soon - starting to rust out on the inside, but no rust holes.
• Needs new brake lines - new bendable copper lines are included, they just need to be installed.
• Rear brake lines recently installed by me.
• May need a new TCU (approx. $250). Keeps blowing the fuse when I plug it back in.
• Front end parts included: tie rods, upper/lower ball joints (I bought them a while ago but never needed to install them).
• Has a horizontal crack in the windshield.
Price is low since there are a few issues that need to be addressed before putting it on the road. I love working on vehicles and I kept this for the last couple of years hoping I could fix it up since it still has so much power and life, but ultimately, just don’t have the time to give it the attention it needs.
