Used 05 CTS only 51k original miles!! Possible trades considered - cars &... for sale in Salinas, CA

Vehicle Description

Well, it’s time to sell Betty our cadillac. I bought her from the original owners son(in PG), with only 26k miles on her four years ago. Two years ago a deer jumped out in front of us on Hwy 68 at York RD, and we hit it. Damage was very minimal, but given the age of the car, they called it a total loss(salvage). I have pics of the damage. Since the damage was only cosmetic, with super low miles, I bought it back from Allstate. I had it fixed through a friends body shop for $1800, and we got her back on the road. Last year the computer went out on her, and I had Watsonville cadillac put a new one in, it cost $1800! Rip off.....must be my lucky number. Two months ago, she died on the freeway, and I pulled over. Turned the key off, turned it back on, and she fired right back up. It has happened 3 other times, and has only left a check engine light on once. It always fires right back up, and has never left me stranded. There is currently no check engine light. I talked to Cadillac, and of course, they would like to check it out. Possible crank position sensor, or cam sensor they say. So to be clear: It runs, drives, turns, and stops as it should. Unlike many people on here who list things, I want to be 100% transparent about anything wrong with this car. My daughter is almost 16, and she does not want to drive what she calls an “old persons car”. That being said, I’m not going to put another dime into Betty, as my daughter wants a Honda. The car is clean, only has 51k legitimate miles, and with a little bit of love, or mechanical know how, you can have yourself a car that will go another 150k miles. Doesn’t leak one drop of anything! Tires are 3 months old! Asking 5k or best cash offer. May trade for street or dual sport bike. Would consider trades for 450 mx or 250 or 500 two strokes. Would even consider old car trades or projects.
