I just had it in the shop for a comprehensive inspection and service to identify any issues or pending needs it might have as well as perform the scheduled maintenance due at this time .. The following work was performed and noted; These cars have timing chains which can sometimes require replacement as was determined during the inspection, There are 3 timing chains and 3 tensioners in this engine and all 3 were replaced along with the Tensioner, the 6 spark plugs were replaced as was recommended at this mileage, the Coolant and Differentials were serviced by flushing and replacing Fluids, The following was noted plus work that was recently done. It has New Kumho All Season Tires that Discount Tire just installed that come with lifetime balancing and rotations at no charge. The Front and Rear Brakes were noted to be at better than 60% life/thickness with Good Rotors, Wheel bearings and New Tires @15k ago, 4 wheel alignment. As mentioned above this is an exceptional car given its physical and mechanical condition and great service history will make someone very happy. No drama, unpleasant surprises and expenses. I did this because its how I would like to find a car when I've looked and have rarely found affordable cars in this type of shape.
