Vehicle Description
Pictures 4, 5 and 6 show how the truck looks currently.
It took numerous hours to widen the original cowl and roof to mate with the 1932 Ford hood and grille shell. With more hours and using 1929 Ford model A doors, the rear of the cab was fabricated wider and longer to create room for 3 people and keep the overall proportions correct. The hand crafted pickup box is 7 feet long and 54 inches wide, has a custom built tailgate with custom latches and modern straps. Four fiberglas 1929 Ford fenders and powder coated 1932 Ford bumpers are mounted to the custom built frame which has the running boards designed and welded to the frame to eliminate stress on the fenders.
The original 1929 Ford model A frame rails have have been lengthened 21 inches to a 124 inch wheelbase. The frame rails have been reinforced with tubing truss supports and new center X member. A 1936 Ford I-beam front axle and cross chassis front spring carries Ford disc brakes with all new parts. A rebuilt power steering box is connected to new tie rods and ends. The 1989 Mercury Cougar independent rear axle unit is suspended with quarter elliptic leaf springs with weight jacks and has drum brakes. There are all new seals and bearings in the rear axle assembly along with new emergency brake cables and hardware.
The rebuilt 1989 Buick 3800 V6 engine feeds into powder coated headers and a stainless steel exhaust system A rebuilt 1991 Chevrolet s10 overdrive automatic transmission connects to a new driveshaft with new U-joints. An aluminum radiator cools the engine and an AC condenser with electric fan cools the new Vintage heat/air unit mounted in the cab.

rolled rear pan
chrome exhaust stacks with stainless elbows & all mounting brackets
custom reversed, powder coated new rims with new BFG tires

brake lines, hoses, proportioning valve, 3rd brake light
rubber running board covers
fender and spring welting
power window units
1987 Buick computer and wiring harness
dashboard wood and 1989 Buick gauges and wiring
Things to be done;
fuel tank and lines
window glass
final wiring
AC/heater and power steering hoses
The truck has been partially disassembled for final body work and paint prep. 95% of all parts necessary for reassembly are included, very little parts money will be required to complete the truck just your time and labor. Truck will be sold with a bill of sale for all components and parts
This project will sell for $18,500.00, reasonable offers will be considered. Trades will not be considered.
