Vehicle Description
A complete frame off restoration including all exterior finished being sand blasted, primed and block sanded with a final finish in champagne gives homage to the family history of this classic beauty. Three coats of light metallic paint and finished with three coats of clear reflect all the fine preparation. Bumpers have been re-chromed while the grill and other stainless accents are original, showing just a touch of patina.
Simply original and untouched, it shows a slight bit of age and it's 53,000 miles of use. The rubber front mat did not stand the test of 83 years and has been substituted. All interior accessories, but for the wipers, function proper.
Painstaking hours and near bottomless budget focused on a complete and factory correct rebuild of the 230 cid flathead 6 motor. New clutch and fluids brought the remaining running gear to fine operating condition. A thorough re-assembly of the undercarriage shows clean and bright. All brake aspects, bearings, exhaust etc. have been replaced with factory correct parts, as available. The hard work is clearly recognized in her revitalized road performance and she is a driver.
