Vehicle Description
Up for sale is my 1948 Chevy pick up. Gen 5, 468 Big Block Chevy, mild roller cam with 4L80E automatic transmission. Holley Terminator fuel injection system with transmission controller. Engine & transmission have less than 200 miles on them. Trans Am front subframe steering so it drives like a sports car. 4 link Chevelle type rear suspension with rear sway bar. Chopped top. Interior is from a Monte Carlo SS. Front seats are from 80's Buick with power driver's seat. Power windows & locks. A/C. There's cruise control but I haven't tried it after replacing the engine. The Wheels are real deal Halibrands with new tires in the front.
I'm calling it a project because it needs some finishing up. The A/C needs to be charged, the speedometer is not hooked up but I have a mechanical drive for it and the computerized Holley system has the vehicle speed as an option in the display. The paint has some spots where it's been buffed through, nicks & scratches.
If you are tall, forget it. I'm 5'10" and really don't fit in it. That's one of the reasons I'm selling it.
I will consider interesting trades. Would prefer Chevy's though. No projects please.
