1948 Dodge D24 4 door Sedan with Fluid Drive. Has 3 speed on the column but can also be driven almost like an automatic. 230 flathead six cylinder engine. Very well taken care of and maintained over the years and always Garage Kept. Super Solid body was told by bodyman it was about 90% original paint and has the original interior with plastic covers over the original seats. Wide whitewall tires (Nylon). Runs and drives good and is dependable. Fun to cruise around town cause after you take off you never have to clutch it and can actually stop at a redlight with shifter in 3rd gear and not clutch it and then take off in 3rd gear (Fluid Drive). Just a good, solid and fun car and part of Automobile History. Gets lots of thumbs up and questions when we take her out. Have been on several 100 mile trips with no problems. 4-15-21 Just added new starter, new sending unit to fix fuel gauge, adjusted carb. and cleaned fuel system, Purrs like a kitten. Also had car buffed and waxed. 90% original paint. I am a 62 year old retired man and have owned several Ford, Mercury, Lincoln, Chevrolet, Buick, Oldsmobile, Plymouth, Chrysler, Dodge, Pontiac and AMC cars and trucks in my 40 years of being an old car nut. Even owned a Packard, Nash and Hudson at one time. But this old Dodge has been one of the most solid and dependable old antique cars I have ever had the pleasure to own ! Clear Texas Title in hand.
