Used 1948 international KB-3 1 ton van for sale in Walton, NY

Dad restored in 1990's, has parkinsons now, has been garaged since an on frame restoration, not used since 2008.

In 1990 engine had new bearings and piston rings. No transmission work. rebuilt original carb. replaced, wires, distributor, plugs. driven approximately 10,000 miles since restoration.

Paint is base coat clear coat adirondack green number 10 original paint color. There is some minor blistering on bottom of rear doors.

Rebuilt snd reupholstered seats have some mouse damage (padding uneven) skins perfect.

Temp gauge works. volt meter works, speedo works, odometer broken, heater works,

Condition, excellent body, good mechanical. Starts without ether, idles, runs, starts, stops and shifts. Had been sitting for 10 years before I put in a new battery, changed gas, replaced coil cleaned 6 volt contacts, added brake fluid. We used to drive it to Watkins Glen from Catskills for vintage car races in the 1990's. "It beat a VW microbus @ vintage weekend on turn 11" per Dad. lol. Also "it has never broken down over the 10,000 miles."

Brakes

As seen in picture front passenger wheel cylinder leaks fluid. Bendix wheel cylinders. Easy to obtain parts. cheap.

Radiator

We used to have to run heater doing mountains on hot days from watkins glen to catskills. flats and fall/spring were fine.
Dad suspects radiator obstruction. this can be a little expensive, $4-500 to unsolder and thread rod the fin tubes, then resolder top.

Leaf springs

As seen in pictures back driver leaf spring clamp is only holding half of spring packet. none broken. light rust.

Tires

Tires held air for 10 years because of tubes, They have check pattern on inside. Needs tires in time. hubcaps are hard to find per Dad. As in pictures 2 are good 2 are rough. they are 11" hub caps.
