Vehicle Description

Here's a 1962 Chevrolet Impala 2 door hardtop that originally came from South Dakota. I have the South Dakota license plate showing it was last on the road in 1973. The worst part is it was parked in a grove near the border of Minnesota/South Dakota for several decades. The floors survived to where they only need patching in a few spots. The inner rockers and braces where they meet the rockers would need replacement if your restoring the car. Trunk needs center pan. Trunk body mounts behind the rear tires need replacement. If your restoring the car, the trunk weatherstrip lip will need replacement. Included with the car is a garage stall full of parts from 3 or 4 other 1962 Impala's I parted out over the years, so there are four extra grills, 8 headlight bezels, 2 sets of hubcaps, etc, etc, etc. Car was born 283 p/glide which is no longer with the car. I will include a stuck 283, and the majority of parts to convert to a three speed manual, which will help if you want to add a four speed later. Because the car sat in a grove, the rear diff center section was removed because of water in it, and the rear axles were re-installed so the car can be rolled around. The car and the parts are all being sold together as a package deal. I will not sell parts separately, or the car separately. I can't over emphasize how many extra parts are included with the car. It is a lot of parts and the pictures don't show the majority of them. There is even a good used windshield included, which is a big deal because 62 Impala windshield cost around $450 new. You will likely be able to sell enough of the parts included on ebay and recoup over half of your investment. Price for the car and parts is $4,950. Located one hour south of Minneapolis.
