Vehicle Description

Here's a 1963 Chevrolet Biscayne 2 dr. sedan that was built at the Van Nuys Chevrolet assembly plant in Los Angeles the 3rd week of June 1963. A few weeks later it sold new at the Red White Chevrolet dealership in Lakewood Colorado which is a suburb of Denver. Note the very cool chrome dealer emblem still in place on the trunk lid. This car spent it's life in Colorado and Nebraska. This is currently a running driving car. I drove it all last summer. It had been off the road since 1982. Current mileage on the odometer reads 83,384. Car is a 6 cylinder with three speed manual on the column. A lot of work has been done to this car recently to get it back on the road. The brakes have new wheel cylinders, master cylinder, new brake shoes, 3 rubber brake hoses, all metal hydraulic fluid lines, and whlbrg repack. Gas tank was replaced, new fuel pump, carb overhauled. Radiator and heater core replaced, new thermostat, new waterpump. Heater system gone thru, and all cables cleaned and lubed for smooth operation. Same for the kick panel vent cables. The steering column was disassembled and cleaned and lubed for smooth operation New wiper blades. Lighting system gone thru. All gauges working. No cracks in any of the glass. Windshield is tinted. A lot of other work has been done to this car. The wheels are actual 1960's vintage wheels that were cleaned up and painted, and give the car it's great look in addition to the "Patina" the car has.
