Extensive complete $1,736 brake job which included all new metal brake lines, new hydraulic hoses to each wheel, new brake cylinders on each wheel, new brake shoes on each wheel, new springs, re-surfaced brake drums (Receipts supplied upon request). 2 newly rebuilt carburetors from Clark's Corvair Center. 2 new front tires, new battery. Rare Corvair Spinner Wire Hubcaps. Rare chrome bumper guards. Rare power top option found on very few 1964 Corvair convertibles. Radio works and all glass is intact. Car starts easily and runs well. I want to get the car repainted and replace the convertible top (the top is functional but not perfect) but will sell the car for $4,800 now before the car is repainted and the top is replaced. The car is burgundy in color with a black convertible top and interior. 4-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION WITH 110 HORSEPOWER ENGINE. Significant engineering changes were introduced for 1964. The engine displacement was increased from 145 to 164 cu in. The high-performance engine increased from 102 to 110 hp. A front stabilizer bar was added along with an improvement in the car's swing axle rear suspension occurred with the addition of a transverse leaf spring along with softer rear coil springs designed to diminish rear roll stiffness and foster more neutral handling.
