Used 1966 Cadillac Convertible Parts Car for sale in Rochester, MN

I have owned this car for many years. We used to drive it in the Rochester Fest parade. Beautiful car. For the last 10 years or so it was stored in a bubble, inside a tent. Snow storm in April brought the tent down - tent supports went through everything and smashed the convertible top frame as you can see in the pictures. I had every intention of restoring - even put new tires on it. I purchased a new convertible frame, top, back glass window and all the seals - over $2000 in just the top material. This is for sale, either with the purchase of the parts car or separately for $1,800,
Now the bad news - the frame is very rusty right under the doors. To restore it right, the body really needs to be removed from the frame - and I have neither the time or expertise to do that!
So, my loss is your gain.
Please look at the pictures closely - everything except the frame is in fairly nice condition.
Motor (340 horsepower 429 cu in) hasn’t been started in years, but it turns over freely. Throttle mechanism is stuck, so the carburator needs to be rebuilt - not a bad job. Everything worked fine when I parked it! Gas tank should really be replaced, or thoroughly cleaned.
Interior is Black leather, just needing a thorough cleaning.
Please do not call or text asking for parts. Parting cars leaves the guy who buys the whole car scrambling to find these parts that I sold. I will not do it!
