Vehicle Description
A builder from York Pa, purchased and started to build a resto mod version, he stopped around 85% completion due to health and personal reasons. I purchased in August 2019, and did a little bit but mostly bought parts, and have most parts to complete. THIS IS A ZERO RUST CAR, has the bones to be a very big buck car, if someone with mechanical and paint experience completes the car right. Car will need flat towed to remove from my garage. Was originally a 6cyl automatic 4 bolt wheels when builder purchased.
Now has a 66 289, bored .030" over, mild cam, all internal engine parts new except crank since was fine, as per builder. Engine and head machine work done by a reputable automotive machine shop in York Pa. Has a new HEI, Triple core aluminum rad, electric fan, Eldebrock aluminum intake and 650 cfm carb, mustang two type manual rack pinion and power front disk brake conversions, Year One fiberglass cowl hood, Shelby Type fiber glass trunk lid and end caps, new bumpers, front turn signals and back up lights, new white pony interior, carpet, headliner, side panels, dash controls, handles and levers and door lights, has a new 17 Circuit Easy Wire Harness box and wire harness completed to the point where lights work and ready for initial startup. Due to I still needed to purchase other things to complete the wiring process is why the wire man stopped until the parts are installed. Car has a new starter, chrome alt, new exhaust manifolds and a complete dual exhaust kit in boxes, new fuel tank, sending unit, 3/8" metal original replacement fuel line, B&M shifter, windshield chrome trim, all in boxes. A doner 68 Fairlane 8" rear in car that needs drums, brake kit and lines have the original emergency brake cable. The original driveshaft is to long so a different input yoke needs purchased also ujoints. Windshield is cracked other glass nice. The C4 is from the doner along with the 66 289, builder said they both ran fine but since he was building this for his wife at the time he wanted a brand new engine. His body man was not very good that is all I can say so some touch ups or possible respray of clear coat is needed.
