Used 1968 Kaiser Jeep M715 for sale in Reno, NV
Vehicle Description
This is a real Jeep. In fact, it it the last Jeep made for the military. There were only about 33,000 of these made in 1967, 68 and 69. The VIN is 27530, with a delivery date of 2/68. The VIN on the data plate and on the frame match and the data plates are original. This is a parade-worthy vehicle. This is an Air Force cargo truck with tower stickers on the dash and an AF reserve inventory tag (number unreadable). I tried to find out the last duty station for it, but those records have long since been archived and forgotten.
Also included are the original service manuals.
This truck/trailer combo also comes with three engines (count'em three)! There's a 1975 Jeep 258ci in the truck, which runs good. 1975-1979 block, crankshaft and head that could be for an engine you can rebuild, and I have also included a recently rebuilt 1978 258 engine that is ready for final assembly with all new parts.
There are new mil spec canvas covers for the truck and trailer . All of the pieces are included. The truck has a rare fiberglass hard cab cover (nice in the weather).
There are 27,500 miles in the odometer.
The truck is in much better shape than it was when I bought it. I put a lot of time and money into this truck.
