Vehicle Description

This is a very early Laser 917 VW based kit car, the tag from its builder is 917-071. A lot has been done in building the car but it has never been finished. It has new floors, new brakes and brake lines, the front end has been rebuilt, and the transaxle has been rebuilt. The motor is a 1600 cc VW dual port that has been rebuilt and runs great, but has never been installed in the car. I have a new windshield and new door windows but I do not have the oval piece of plexiglass that makes the rear window. Also, I have a new pair of headlight covers. I have a good Illinois title. This car is well on its way to being completed, the fiberglass body is in very good condition, but it does need paint and interior work, and the tires are very old and need to be replaced.
