Used 1968 Plymouth GTX 2132 miles for sale in Chincoteague Island, MD

Vehicle Description

This car was last raced in 1974 and has been sitting for 4 and 1/2 decades (that's 45 years). It has 2132 miles on it and needs some work but it's a VERY good place to start. Fully undercoated and no floor rot. NOM (not original motor) NO power steering or brakes. It was originally dark green color with a green interior that is still in it and in great shape. I have the fender tag and it does have all 5 of the original road wheels. It was a leftover car and the dealership decided to make it into a race car starting a 1969, in 1974 after blowing up it's original motor the rebuilt what appears to be a very nasty 440 for the car. It is like brand new inside of the engine and has a TM7 manifold and 750 dual feed vacuum secondary holly on it. I have turned down many requests to sell the car, but things have just come up and if you want it, you better get it. I might even be talked out of the brand new wheel of vintiques 10-in steelies and a set of stock 15 in for the front. I spun the motor over but due to a problem with the ignition switch I have not cranked it over. If needed to I will. It is a fully undercoated car and floor pans are on excellent shape. when it was raced they cut the outer rear fender wells and pushed the quarters out to accomplish putting on larger tires. It does need some body work and paint but it is a very solid car to begin with as you know it is hard to find these in good shape to start with. As stated, the car has TWO THOUSAND AND THERTY TWO miles on the odometer. I will be adding other photos shortly please don't ask low ball offers or any kind of trades.
