Vehicle Description

For Sale; 1969 Mercury Cyclone CJ428. One of 2175 built in 1969. The 5th digit in the VIN number being an "R" indicates a Ram Air equipped CJ 428. 91535 miles on speedometer. Currently has a rebuilt 390 engine with 41,000 miles on it, C-6 automatic transmission with a Hurst Promatic 2 ratchet shifter. I was going to have this restored to a driver condition, but after close to 4 years in a body shop I've lost interest. It has a new aluminum radiator, gas tank and sending unit, heater core, fuel pump, headers, and rear springs. The body work done so far are new floor pans, rear frame rails, inner wheel housings, and trunk floor panel. It's currently in primer and there is still plenty of body work to finish, the original color was Lime Green, not the dark green as shown in the pictures. I have over $11,000.00 invested to date, but I do want to sell it. My loss is your gain. It's road worthy, but the windows aren't installed, so would need to be trailered.
