Used 1969 opel rallye kadett for sale in Newport, VA
Vehicle Description
Priced to avoid buyers just hauling the car to junk yard. I'm hoping a vintage car hobbyist will rehab this car or at least use it for parts. My father owned this car since 1973, so assuming he's second owner. He drove it until he garaged it in 1990 or '91 and it's been under cover, as pictured, since then. No crashes, very few dents, some rust, I couldn't get the hood to release but I'm pretty sure engine and transmission and everything else is all there. I think he drove it into the place where it is now. There's a huge hole in the trunk where the wheel well rusted out. I'm sure he never put wax on it but mechanically he took very good care of his cars so regular maintenance was done. Probably had the motor rebuilt after high mileage. I think the car repair history is in the glove box. I have the title and keys. The interior is pretty worn but it's all there and original. I think the best thing is that the body is in good shape. I have no idea if the engine is frozen or not. Tires may or may not hold air, so may need a dolly or haul it on a flat bed.Pretty cool little car if it's fixed up.
