Vehicle Description
This is by no means what I would buy for a daily driver as it is an open air vehicle. Jeepster Commando came in three types: Revival Jeepster, Commando convertible, and an open body roadster with no top at all. (This particular one does not have a top though hard tops can be purchased for less than $400). Think of it more like a street legal go kart and you'll be in the Jeep mindset in no time. It runs and drives and it's suprisingly plush for a jeep this one even has functioning power steering!
This Jeep would be a great toy or second vehicle to play with. It is 50 years old the new owner should br mechanically inclined as things do happen to cars this old.
Speedometer and gauges do work.

Q: is it fuel injection?
A: it is carbureted. Fuel injection was not offered until the later years of YJ.
Q: is there a title?
A: yes there is a clean complete Colorado title.
Q: what had been replaced recently?
A: the radiator had been upgraded to a all aluminum unit, master cylinder replaced, new battery, new windshield, new plugs/wires
Q: does the 4x4 work?
A: yes, however the transfer case could use some work on the linkages as they can be difficult sometimes.
Q: can you take pictures of x y & z.
A: yes, however I charge $1 per picture. Must be paid first. Otherwise your can look at it in person for free!
Q: does it have power steering?
A: yes, but no there power anything for that except for the windshield wiper.
Q: will it pass emissions?
A: Being a 70' it does not require emissions in Colorado and qualifies for 5-year collector tags.
Trades will be considered! I do not want your XJ's! Please keep them. Would consider a trade for a hummer in almost any condition H1 H2 H3, A truck with 4x4, that was made in the last decade and a half. most things diesel, ford bronco Jeep Wrangler... no XJ's though.
