Here is a rare project car for restoration or parts. My hope is someone will restore it because it is a unique, cool looking tii. Very few of these are left. The chassis has been lowered and fenders flared therefore not a candidate for concours restoration. I bought this in 87 occasionally drove it for a few years and stored it in my garage planning on restoring it in my retirement. Unfortunately, my health won’t allow it. Was running until a fuel injector nozzle failed and garaged All engine components are there except a battery. The dash and center console will need to be replaced. The interior is a mess and will require a lot of attention to restore. My plans were to tear it out and putting in a roll cage and Recaro style seats. The upper dash still has its original clock, which was working when put in storage. Parking cable will need to be replaced (parts in trunk). Wink racing mirrors. Roundel magazines including over 70 issues from 1985 – 93 and other literature.
Cosmetically the exterior needs some replacement trim, some rust bubbles on door and trunk lid and rocker panels removed. Exterior trim pieces that are missing in photos are in the trunk. Window gaskets will need to be replaced. Both rocker panels are missing. I have since lost the title, but will provide info if you want to apply for a lost title.
If parting out, this will make someone a lot of money, the engine alone will fetch close to $2,000.00 on ebay. The transmission and other components sell quickly and for a lot of cash. Even small parts like taillight lenses windows, grills will easily sell.
This rock bottom price is firm, was offered $1500.00 from scrap yard sight unseen. Please restore this car or put the parts to good use.
