Used 1972 F100 4 x 4 Restomod Truck for sale in Detroit Lakes, ND

1972 F100 4x4 Truck. Heavy Half (F111). Restomod. 431CI Stroker, 4 speed 4WD.

This truck was purchased from central ND with almost no rust. What little there was was repaired with new metal and the truck was repainted to its original colors. It was not a frame off resto, there is the normal surface corrosion on the underside of the truck. There is no rust through anywhere. There was very little on this truck that wasn't either completely rebuilt or gone through. The differentials were not opened up, there is a little seepage from the yokes, although all the wheel bearings and seals were replaced. Following is a list of what was done, although I am sure I am missing something. I am selling it because it is time to move on to the next project and I need the space.

It will need new tires. The only thing that doesn't function on the truck are the back up lights - There is a short between the transmission switch and the connection on the left front inner fender, it is disconnected and covered so short doesn't effect electrical.

It comes with a fitted heavy duty cover.

Period Western Turbine 15 x 10 wheels. The truck needs new tires.
There is no spare tire carrier. A standard steel wheel spare can be included if desired.
Transmission:
New Process 435 Wide Ratio 4 Speed (Granny First Gear)
Dana 21 single speed transfer case
Transmission and transfer case were completely gone through and all new seals and gaskets installed.
New LUK Heavy Duty Clutch and Throw Out Bearing
Flywheel resurfaced.
Body:
The truck was mostly rust free from central ND it had 78,345 miles on it when resto was started. The minimal rust was all repaired with new metal. It was painted back to the original Swiss Aqua and Wimbledon white. This was not a frame off restoration. There is the typical surface corrosion on the under side of the truck. There is no rust-through whatsoever.
The bed center section was removed and a custom White Oak bed was installed.
The truck originally came with Western mirrors (they have been refurbished and are included with the sale) it now has standard chrome mirrors on it. The right hand mirror has a gouge in the chrome on the back side (see photo). The chrome grill surround is original and has scratches and scuffs. The center of the grill is a new barred chrome unit. The front bumper is an original Ford unit in good condition. The rear bumper is a new step bumper with rubber treads and halogen back up lights (the back up lights are the only things on the truck that don’t work).
No scratches or cracks in any of the glass.
The interior of the truck was not painted and there are scratches on the kick panels. The doors and door jambs were painted.
Interior:
New seat cover and poly floor mat.
Shoulder harnesses.
Marshall Red Line LED Guages: Speedo w/GPS sender, Tach, Oil, Water Temp, Volts & Fuel. New fuel sender.
Retrosound Hermosa Blue Tooth Stereo with hands free calling, JBL GTO Speakers. Woofers in the doors, Tweeters in the top of the dash and 2 ways in the front of the dash.
Heated Seats, both bottom and back.
Custom made door panels, new arm rests (the original uncut ribbed steel panels are included with the sale)
Grant steering wheel. Original, cracked, wheel can be included with sale if desired.
New boots on the shifters and the original shifter knobs have been refurbished.
New heater core, The entire heater was disassembled and all seals, foam and ducting, along with the fan were replaced.
The headliner and sun visors are in original as found condition.
New Glove Box.

Odometer read 431 miles currently, I put a couple of hundred on it before installing the speedo, so current miles after the resto is around 650-700. The truck had 78,345 on it when the resto was started which I believe to be actual miles.
