Vehicle Description
This started as a project. The truck is mechanically sound - doesn't burn oil and runs and starts great.
I had to replace the master cylinder and proportioning valve. I also installed a new battery and alternator and power steering pump. Recharged the AC system and it works great. The original exhaust system was rusted so I replaced it with 1.5 inch dual exhaust with Flow Master mufflers (sounds AWESOME!).
The interior: the rear floor pans were rusted so I welded in new ones as well as repairing other rusted areas (welded in new pan). Installed new carpet on the floor and rear curtain. All interior trim has been repainted with special paint designed for plastic - headliner too. Replaced original incandescent dash lamps with blue LED and the dome light is also new (LED). Added a tach to the dash.
The body is very clean - small dent in the middle of the hood and small patch of surface rust on the right rear quarter panel (see pic). Hood hinges are NEW. The ONLY bondo on the entire car is on the roof where I fixed a couple of rust spots. The entire tail-light assembly is new as are the lenses. I added a "third light" brake light LED Chevy emblem (see pic).
