1978 Chrysler New Yorker - the last of the C body gigantic cars marketed by Chrysler. It's powered by the gigantic 440 engine which was rare to find in a non Camper or Truck by 1978. The car is from New Hampshire originally and very solid with the exception of the left & right quarter panel. Appears to be a leaky Trunk as the culprit rather than salt rust. The car had 13,535 miles on it in 2011 according to the paperwork. A very young Russian Immigrant (IT Guy) bought the car and drove it another 12,000 miles, it now has 28,000 miles. The Kid's Mother said that it was a beautiful when she bought it for her son in 2011. The leather interior is in beautiful still for it's age. The Russian guy decided to customized the car.17 inch wheels, shaved door handles, removed the vinyl roof and painted it black. The chrome that wasn't removed is in pretty good shape. The car has a dent in the rear trunk. The Russian Guy also put in a stereo system and electronic gadgets that mostly don't work now. Power Trunk still works but no trunk key. Brand new Battery. Just repainted the roof black. New Voltage Regulator. Distributor, rotor and spark plugs, Lean Burn Computer Control System has been removed. He removed a lot of the body moldings and trim. It's kind of cool but.well, you be the judge, the car is still pretty intimidating looking. The car yard drives, the brakes work, I'm debating about getting it road worthy, it won't take much. All the exterior lighting works and function properly. The car has a Massachusetts title which I can convert to a Virginia Title for another 200 dollars on top of the sale price.
