1979 ¾ TON 4X4 PICKUP
Excellent condition, 1979 4x4 chevrolet pickup for sale. These trucks are getting harder to find in this condition for the price.
The many features and recent upgrades on this truck make’s a long list.
• Recently installed crate 350 small block with a 4BRL carb, with less than 500 miles on it.
• TH350 auto transmission and heavy duty transfer case, NP205
• 4x4 ¾ ton , with Warn manual locking hubs in front
• New stainless exhaust system
• New paint job in the last 6 months, white on orange was original colors, just restored to original
• New and restored interior to stock condition
• New all terrain tires
• Power windows
• Power brakes
• Air conditioning
• Tilt steering column
• Bed liner has been sprayed in bed
• Also has a dump bed feature with scissor hoist
• Other brand new parts installed, starter, alternator, and others
• VIN #TCL449Z518678, shows up as a ½ ton, 2 wheel drive.
This truck has been very well taken care of and always garage stored.
The odometer says, 8342 miles, which are original miles for the body. The body was originally on a 1979 ½ ton 2 wheel drive truck that was purchased brand new in 1979 and sat most of its life inside. The body was taken off and installed on a 1981 Chevy ¾ ton 4x4 frame. A brand new crate 350 was installed during this time and the recent paint job. This is not a show truck, but a well put together, clean 1979 ¾ ton 4x4 pickup. The only reason that it is up for sale, is that the truck sits most of the time and is rarely driven, and we are downsizing our collection of vehicles. We don’t have the room to store this great truck now. If you want a nice daily driver that can work too, this is would be the truck for you.
