Used 1980 Ford E350 Ambulance Stealth Camper/Tool Storage Truck - cars & for sale in Portland, OR

I am selling my beloved 1980 Ford E350 van with an ambulance box. I’ve got a big folder of receipts and have put about $12,000 into it over eight years keeping it alive and driving it every day. It comes with receipts for a rebuilt engine and transmission from the previous owner. It was re-powered by the previous owner with a rebuilt gas 460 from an 1972 Lincoln Continental, giving it a shit-ton of power. It’s a seriously cool old truck.
It has a small head gasket leak which is why the price is where it is at. This means I’m seeing a bit of coolant in the engine oil.
Other than that, it runs great and drives quite well, good tires etc. It’s been a solid and reliable truck for me and I bought another ambulance like it to replace it. After sitting for 7 months, it fired right up, no problem and starts easily when cold.
I’d like to see it go to someone who needs a cheap stealth camper, a rat-rod camper, onsite tool storage rig or someone who finds value its coolness and wants a neat project.
Clear title in hand. I am asking $2,000 or the best offer by the end of the month. The recyclers offered me $1,000 for it as scrap, but I hate to scrap it as it’s still got some use left in is for the right person/situation. The box itself is very solid.
