Used 1981 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Pro Street/Trades? - - by for sale in Willernie, MN
Vehicle Description
Street legal and used for street driving currently on pump gas. Not sure if the car was raced previously.
Engine: 460CI Chev (454 bored .030 over), aluminum intake, aluminum heads, Holley 850, roller rockers, nitrous system (installed but never used, I believe the pills in it are for a 200 hit) , cog drive pulleys.
Transmission: TH400, manual valve body, 10" stall (not sure of exact stall speed was in car when i got it), Kilduff “Lightning Rod” shifter (added in 2019)
Exhaust: Hooker super comp headers, 3" exhaust with bullet mufflers and turn downs before the rear end.
Ignition: MSD Street Fire Ignition and MSD distributor.
Fuel System: Electric pump in rear (looks like a holley possibly) with ½” aluminum lines, quick fuel regulator with return line (new 2019), fuel cell w/ gauge sender in trunk, Runs on 91 octane non-oxy and I mix in a Lucas octane boost per tank, separate small cell and pump in front for NOS side.
Suspension and Rear end: Front – Viking adjustable Coilovers (new 2020), Rear - Competition Engineering Coilovers (new 2019), rear end is a Ford 9" w/ 4:11 gears.
Cooling: oversized aluminum Radiator, dual Spal fans (new 2020) on thermal switch.
Wheels and tires: fronts-15x4 Weld Drag Light rims w/185-15 radials, Rears-15x14 Weld Drag Light rims w/31x18.5 Hoosiers (have about 300 street miles on them, new 2019).
Gauges: Dash has - Holley digital w/ analog needle GPS speedo with built in 1/4 mile timer (2019), Holley digital w/ analog needle tach (2019), Dash- oil, temp, volt, and fuel level gauges all replaced with Autometer (2020), Cowl gauges are Summit brand.
Body and Misc: Tubbed, decent roll cage (drivers side bar was removed by previous owner to get in and out easier, got an estimate of 300 to replace them), battery located in trunk, Jaz racing seats, 4 pt harnesses (out of date), Paint isn’t perfect, it’s been painted a while but very presentable still (originally silver). Some small dings and paint touch ups but still nice to look at. No radio, no wipers, no heater.
Also have both front inner fender wells. Nice shape but need a clean, scuff and paint to be presentable. Doors could use hinge pin bushings.
Trades - Cool hot rods, muscle cars, low mile RV motorhome. No boats, bikes or mother in-laws. May trade up if I like your ride. My Camaro is a fun ride and I expect anybody driving it will conclude the same thing.
Clear title in my name. For a test drive bring yourself and your $$. Lowballers go shop somewhere else or build your own. Any price discussion will be done in person while viewing the car so I know you are serious. Of course if you want the car to come home with you it will require cash on the spot -or - you must wait until your check clears. Thanks!
