A very nice 1981 corvette with 111k miles. This WILL go up as I can’t help driving it 3-5 times weekly around town.
New paint, replaced the front air dam.
Replaced all 4 belts and the battery.
AC has been retrofitted to r134. The condenser and evaporator checked out good, the compressor did not. It was replaced and the system is now blowing 56 degrees. Work professionally completed at a cost of just over $1000.
Fresh oil and filters change
New carpet, floor and cargo mats with OEM products.
Both seats have been professionally recovered.
I hand wash this beauty but I took it to a spray wash to check the seal integrity and didn’t see any water. That’s pretty miraculous as all the other t-top cars I’ve had (z28 and trans ams) all leaked a little to a lot.
The stereo was replaced with:
JVC Bluetooth stereo
Kenwood speakers up front and Pioneer in rear
Kicker box
Professionally installed system that set me back $1500
Original owners manual and t-top covers.
I also have a custom fit car cover that goes with her.
She stays in the temp controlled garage.
I have never taken her out without being flagged down or hollared at by admirers. She’s that stunning.
The original aluminum wheels had a very dull finish when I bought it and I’m working on that. They look much better but I’m going for the chrome like finish I remember seeing back in the day.
Almost forgot, I’ve had a nice rosewood console kit installed to cover up that plain black console.
The tires have less than 3k miles with excellent tread, but they are several years old. So I’d inspect them closely.
The headlamps go up and down like they should.
The engine/transmission very solid. It starts, runs and shifts as it should. No smoke, no lights and all gages are showing in the proper ranges.
I had it professionally appraised (by a guy with more than 40 years selling only corvettes) factoring in the current mileage. I’m running it on the lower side of his appraisal. He said if the mileage was under 75k it would bring no less than $20k. So I’ve priced it aggressively for a quick sale.

I have 2 corvettes in the garage and my wife says one toy is enough. But we do need a pickup.

VIN is shown in pic. Feel free to run a carfax check. It showed clean when I bought it 3 years ago.
Emails are good but texts are best for faster replies. My voice comes and goes (mostly gone) so talking is tough due to injuries.
