Vehicle Description
(The 15" wheels effectively raise the rear-end gearing ratio, enabling this particular 240D to cruise much more smoothly/quietly and efficiently at highway speeds than ordinary examples with stock 14" rims).
Have owned this Mercedes since 2005. All maintenance done on time and always garaged. This 240D is registered/insured and regularly driven between Salome and Wickenburg. I usually get between 25-27 miles per gallon of diesel. Looks fantastic, runs very strong, goes down the road correctly and vibration free, no strange noises or tire wear, stops quick and straight, no excessive smoking. Starts without hesitation cold or hot.
Recent services that have been performed include:
1. Radiator flush;
2. Injectors cleaned and fuel hoses/filters replaced;
3. Both front door seals replaced;
4. A/C serviced. Blows cold;
5. Recent Tires, strusts/shocks and battery;
6. Diesel pump checked and timing set.
