REDUCED PRICEWell, sadly, it is time to part with my comrade, Captain Dan, my AMG 1983 DJ 5M. After 4 years of great times and hard work, I must pass him on to another good home. On my watch he has had new heads, complete with new valve cover gasket, new radiator, freshly rebuilt tranny (got back one week ago), new alternator, new wiring harness, new heater core, new master cylinder, new drums, new dimmer switch, new battery, new rear leaf springs, new muffler, new catalytic converter. Carbeurator was completely rebuilt about a year ago and the blower motor is new. The only gas I have put in it since having it is ethanol free. The speedometer doesn't work as I've never fooled with it (probably ju a cable) although the gauge was new when I got it. I put aftermarket temp gauge on it which works well. Never runs hot on route. I know I'm leaving stuff out. I have receipts for everything, and all the parts came from Postal Jeep Parts.net. Gary can vouch for me as well as my mechanic. I'm selling because I made full time and needed something newer (far less cool). It is route ready or ready for complete restoration or parades or just cruising in a piece of cool american history. The paint job was on there when I got it, it is not the best in the world by any means. It's not perfect, but running great. The rack on top is made with pvc and can be removed if you didn't like. I got it to help with Christmas packages. I'm in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, about 65 miles from Little Rock along I 30. I'm asking $4900
