Vehicle Description
selling my 1984 BMW 528e. this car has been in the tri-cities it’s entire life, it was actually purchased new from Leskovar in 1984. i have all service records all the back to ‘84. this has been my daily driver for the last 2 years(~35 miles a day). has about 250,000 miles. timing belt replaced in 2017. beautiful car, definitely a head turner. asking $3,200
the good:
* 3 out of 4 tires are new, 4th is still in good shape
* replaced heater blower motor
* regular oil changes and tire rotations/balances
* paint and body (exterior) 7/10. some minor chips and dents
* power windows and sun roof
* new front brake calipers and break pads
the not so good:
* recently, it overheated on me and i found that where the front radiator hose meets the radiator is busted. the hose does not seal securely. (see pictures) will need addressed and repaired immediately
* heater blower motor resistor needs replaced, i have parts! i just haven’t gotten around to it yet
this car runs and drives great. it just needs the radiator repair before it gets on the road. sad to see it go but it needs a better home. would be a fun project car.
