I aquired this car from a friend who wanted the power windows and moon roof to work. The car had been sitting for some time and in that time frame the keys were misplaced. A new ignition switch was installed and it is obvious that the installer was less than professional. However, the the switch works.
I purchased the car from the owner after a few hours of troubleshooting electrical issues. I replaced the main battery cables, and installed a new primary fuel pump and accumulator. Removed the fuel tank, replaced the screen and cleaned. After putting fresh fuel in the tank and bleed the fuel lines, the car came to life.
My next venture was changing the oil. After the oil change I tried moving the car around my driveway and heard some noise that sounded like rod bearing knock. I inspected the transmission flex plate to make sure there were no cracks or hardware missing. All is in order.
You would be buying a car that is very, Very, VERY clean and restorable. I don't have the storage or facilities to do it myself. However, I have done a fair amount of research and these cars are definitely rare and sought after. The engine swap options are CRAZY! Check out the S600 V12 swap on YouTube!
