Vehicle Description
The 3.0-liter OM603 turbodiesel inline-six was factory-rated at 148 horsepower with 201 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Note that a fluids were changed in expectation of this sale.
The car is finished in Silver Smoke Gold Metallic (702/9702) paint with lower body cladding and bumpers. Equipment includes a painted electric sunroof, remote-adjustable side view mirrors, heat-insulating glass, headlamp washers, and a power antenna. There is slight fade in the paint.
The long-wheelbase SDL added an additional 5.5″ of space for the rear compartment over the standard W126. Factory 15″ Gullideckel alloy wheels and tires with good tread left on all of the tires.
The cabin features Tan leather upholstery with matching sheep skin seat covers on the front seats, velour carpets and plastics. Amenities include a power-adjustable steering column and front seats, a 6-disc CD changer. Zebrano wood trim accents the dash, center console, and door panels. The driver’s seat shows some wear on the outer bolster and there is a small .5 inch tear in the rear seat.
Instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer as well as a tachometer and gauges for temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. Approximately 181k miles are shown on the six-digit odometer.
