Vehicle Description
This 2WD Wolfsburg Edition water-cooled VW is a special edition (only 1985, 1986, and 1987) called the Wolfsburg Weekender was offered in both 2WD. This VW has a pop-top and upstairs bed, like all Westy full campers from '80-'91, but no fridge, stove, sink, or cabinet assembly. Instead, the rear seat is full width to accomodate three adults (rather than the shorter seat in full campers that only accomodates two). Behind the driver's seat, the Wolfsburg Weekender has a rear facing seat with storage underneath. These particular models also came factory-equipped with a 2nd battery system runs. She is clean and has minimal rust damage relative to her age. She had a rebuilt transmission in 2010 and is operating on the original engine. It purchased her in San Francisco in 2007 and the prior owner told me that the odometer was replaced with a used odometer and the actual miles are 25,000 lower. Take that info as you may.
