I bought this car recently from someone who had this vehicle for 8 years. I was originally searching for a grand national but lost hope. I chased this guy down with the 635 while he was just taking it for a spin and was able to make a deal with him.
I planned on keeping it for the long haul as it is one of my favorites. I had plans for a swap eventually. But I just got a job in Dallas so I have to let it go.
Work done recently:
Oil Pan Gasket replaced
Power Steering pump replaced
Alternator and power steering belts replaced
Heater Resistor replaced
Distributor Cap/rotor
Ignition Coil/wire
Spark plugs
Gas tank replaced
Fuel lines replaced
I had the work done by Ben from B&D imports in westchester IL. Per the forums, He is a genius with these old beemers.
Windows, sunroof, radio, seats, heat/ac, cd changer all work.
There is rust in the following places:
Wheel wells
Driver side quarter panel
Bubbling near the back bumper.
This is a beautiful car. It does need a bit of work to it but nothing major. ONLY reason why I’m selling is because I have to move to Dallas and don’t have a place to keep it. Truly did have some plans for this beauty But sacrifices need to be made.
