1988 Jaguar XJ-SC Cabriolet.

Very rare body style. Needs to be restored. Good project car for a Jaguar hobbyist. Not running. Bring a trailer.

Per prior owner, V-12 itself is probably ok. Turns over by hand. But electricals, fuel, cooling, etc. should be gone through at a minimum. Car last ran 7-8 years ago, stopped for electrical issues, car sat because prior owner had several others & it wasn't his main one. Transmission reportedly rebuilt not long before it stopped being driven. Also excellent base for a V-8 swap, which was my plan when I bought it 2 years ago, so I never really looked into it.

Car comes with the following spare parts from a 1984 coupe: Complete V-12 engine (not as clean as the one in the car, but all there) Front & rear complete suspension subframes (with differential, brakes, suspension arms, springs, etc.) Passenger & Drivers side doors with glass (no regulators or motors.) Hood, trunklid. Some miscellaneous small parts including ecu & gauges (don't know if they work...not as clean as ones in car. ) Also includes set of 4 oem Jaguar "Lattice" rims from early 90's XJS. And set of headlights, plastic trim, and the steel buckets for them in fair shape.

Driver's side floor pan in front of seat is rusty and needs to be replaced. The Passenger side is good. My guess is rain leaking past a gasket & a wet carpet on the driver's side. Original Georgia car.

Price is firm. You could sell the extra parts on eBay to net the car for near free. You could do that, part the engine & trans too, keep the body for a V-8 swap, and definitely have a negative basis in it.
