Vehicle Description
The modifications done to the truck were made to improve its comfort and reliability. The bucket seats, console, overhead console were items from a 1991 Suburban. The Gear Vendor Overdrive, Evens Coolant, and Quiet Ride Solutions Insulation and Sound Deadener. Like all 1989 GM products the paint needed attention. The bed, top of cab, and hood have been painted and only the doors and front fenders are left to paint. The paint to finish is included as well as additional Quiet Ride products to finish the interior. The headliner was redone as were the front seats in real leather while the back seat was restored to original.
Tires and wheels were upgraded to 17" to save on replacement costs in the future but there is a new 16" spare. New KYB shocks, B&W Turnover Ball gooseneck hitch, tailgate, new windshield, new back window, and rubber stable mat for the bed of the truck. The radio is Pioneer SXV300V1 with AM/FM Sirius-XM and Bluetooth connection for two cellphones along with new speakers.
The truck needs to been seen in person to be appreciated. The truck is all original except as noted, before I started fixing the truck up to my requirements I had the engine tested. The compression on all 8 cylinders was 140 psi with less than 1% bleed down. Call with questions or best of all come by and see it in person.
