Read the whole entire ad, please. Real, very rare DODGE SPIRIT R/T WITH BLOWN HEAD GASKET. IT NEEDS CYLINDER HEAD WORK. This is for MOPAR LOVERS ONLY and only 1300 Spirit R/T was built back in 1991. I have a 1991 DODGE SPIRIT R/T powered by the 2.2 liter, 4 cylinder, DOHC, 16 valve, turbocharged and intercooled red engine, the famous "TURBO III" set up by factory. These engines had the cylinder head built in England by LOTUS and its capable of pushing 225 H.P stock, non molested. It came with a GETRAG 5 SPEED MANUAL, STICK SHIFT from factory and a GARRET TURBOCHARGER. This one does have a little more boost( around 12 PSI), an aftermarket BOV, a Boost gauge, K&N high performance cold air intake&filter and a 3 inch exhaust with a cherry bomb and side pipe. With these small changes I would say it was pushing around 265 horsepower. The car accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in 6 seconds and it would reach 150 MPH quickly. If you don't know how to launch without spinning the front wheels you would melt the front tires big time. Ad I have said in the beginning of my post the engine needs work, head gasket has blown around a month ago. Car runs and drives but SMOKES A LOT and has no power.
