Camper Buildout
- Brand new roof
- All new solar setup installed. This easily charges everything in the truck and the battery is also hooked up to the alternator so it charges while you drive.

- Brand new fridge that runs off the battery instead of the crappy outdated propane fridge. I can’t speak highly enough of this new fridge. You also don’t have to worry about parking perfectly level or it not working at elevation.
- New bike rack/shelf added to rear in 2020
- Thule box on the rear bumper for extra storage and easy access.
- Resealed all seams with butyl gasket and Dicor
- Fiber glassed front windows which are typically prone to leaking. This made the bed area much comfier as well.
- Lagun Table
- New Dometic 310 Toilet in bathroom and separate shower.
- Brand new motor blower on the furnace. I have spent several nights in the single digits and never been cold with this furnace. In fact until I figured out the thermostat it was too hot even though it was dumping snow outside.
- New fill valve on the propane tank
- Fresh paint on the whole interior and new cabinet doors.
- Hot water heater
- Stove with 4 burner stove and oven
- Redid all the cushions in 2018
- Couch has a pull out and the table fits in between the two seats to make a king size bed. Or you can leave the table and it is a full size bed.
- Fantastic fan
- Replaced front escape hatch
Truck
- All new spark plugs, wires, and vacuum hoses
- New 4 hole injectors
- 3.0 V6 with 133k miles.
- 5 speed manual. More fun to drive. Better fuel economy. More power. Engine braking in the mountains.
- New extra strong battery for starts in the cold
- Headers installed which increased fuel economy, power, and decreased heat on head gasket.
- Valves were adjusted last winter and new valve cover seals were installed. Replaced the PCV valve at the same time.
- Custom aluminum fuel tank with steel skid plate
- Upgraded front headlights
- Oil changed every 3k miles
- All fluids replaced (brakes, power steering, coolant, differentials, transmission)
- Replaced EGR valve
- New Winter/Mud tires last winter
- Extra wide mud flaps and fender flares to contain the mud/snow
- New air filter
- New front brakes and brake pads
Few Things That Could be Fixed
- The power steering box has a slight leak. This popped up this last summer and I had to top it up once in about 6k miles. (Replacement ~ $200)
- Slight exhaust leak that could be fixed pretty quick from an exhaust shop. I talked to a few about it and shouldn’t be more than a few hundred bucks. (~ $300-500) FIXED
- The cabin blower motor just went out (the one in the truck cabin not the camper). I thought it was the switch or the resistor, so I replaced both but it appears that it is actually the blower motor. ($40) The AC has also not worked since I have owned it but has not been a huge issue for me. FIXED
This thing has been an amazing little cabin on wheels. I have spent 3+ months in it the last two summers, and rambled all over the west. With the propane heater it also makes a great ski cabin. With the pull out couch we have slept 5 people comfortably and had plenty of space to store everyone’s ski gear. The only reason I am selling it is because I am trying to buy a house without wheels on it and need the cash. If you are interested then send me an email in the link!
