Vehicle Description
This vehicle is in very good condition for its age; working odometer shows just over 144k original miles (will go up slightly as I continue to drive this back and forth to work and around town). There is plenty of life left in this classic.
Does show some interior and exterior cosmetic wear and tear. Most noticeable are a few missing exterior trim pieces as well as a bit of body damage to the passenger side (original owner was in a minor accident), but looks great overall. The interior is in nice condition overall, the main issue being the seat is a bit sunken in and should either be repaired or replaced.
Mechanically, this vehicle was updated with a new exhaust system by the previous owner, as well as new shocks, new struts, new coils, updated wiring for the air conditioner and instrument panel (a great upgrade), new battery and oil pressure lights, new break master cylinder, and new flame trap. Vehicle was checked over by Indie Auto in Hatfield mid-September; replaced the rear left tail light, the idle air control valve, and a rear pinion seal. Also fixed the parking break, which was not holding. Oil (full synthetic) is good until 148,000 or March 2021. I also had the windows tinted by Mr. Tint in Northampton with their premium heat-blocking option.
This car is ready to drive and will pass inspection. Will likely need new break pads and tires in the near future, and I was planning to have an aftermarket radio installed as the current radio does not work, but other than that it is good to go!
Asking $5250. I will also consider a trade for a 2001 or thereabouts Jeep Cherokee (XJ) in good condition, working synthesizers (Moog, Roland), a vintage bass guitar (Fender), a baritone saxophone, or antiquarian books.
