New Transmission Nose - installed (old one was JB Welded together at mount)
New Transmission Filter and Gasket - installed
New Various Sensors such as Throttle Position Sensor, Transmission Position Sensor - installed
New ABS Module and Sensor - ABS light is still on but brakes work great (ABS is in rear only this model)
New Spark Plugs - installed
New Spark Plug Wires - not installed - now installed 10/23/19
New Distributor Cap - not installed - now installed 10/23/19
New Distributor Rotor - not installed - now installed 10/23/19
New Front Shocks - installed
New Front Suspension Components - not installed
Replaced all Front lights and signals
Replaced U-Joints and Carrier Bearing - 2 piece drive shaft
Passed Inspection and have registration as of 7/20.

Bought this from a scam artist and have poured tons of money into it. Guy had painted over the dash lights - who does that? Anyway, I thought it odd that the lights didn't come on so I pulled the dash and found the bulbs darkened with a sharpie. Fixed that issue and discovered AMP, ABS and Check Engine lights on. Replaced the ABS module but no joy, replaced the ABS sensor but still light wouldn't go out.
Check Engine appears to be O2 Sensor because original Catalytic Converters and remaining exhaust is trash but who knows.
Had Alternator checked but checked ok. Left car sit for a few weeks and when I opened the hood saw the battery dead. Charged the battery for a few minutes and started right up but AMP light was on again. Pulled the Alternator and tested again - now bad. Ordered Alternator Gen2 to Gen3 Alternator conversion kit (Gen2 Alternator would overheat and catch on fire).

Previous owner did a really bad paint job of a Ford Blue - original was silver. Not sure how he applied the paint but am sure he didn't do any prep. Paint is coming off in places especially the bed.

A friend and I have spent many hours troubleshooting and fixing on this thing. Seems like we fix one thing and something else crops up. I had purchased it to use at our little lake house for hauling landscaping and lumber but I have never taken it there.

Issue now is it is running kind of rough at times, stalls and shifts hard. I think the shifting may be an adjustment of the linkage or adjustment of the transmission position sensor. Running rough may be the O2 sensor or many other things that are beyond me. This car predates the OBII test equipment so I took it to a local car repair, they charged me $190 but the things they fixed didn't fix the problem - they then changed the spark plugs for another $250 but still not running right. They then wanted to charge $1900 to change the fuel injectors - so I did those. Parts cost $850 and the labor was about 3 hours.

I'm going to keep poking at it to see if I can get it running better - starts and runs smooth - just goes goofy when put in gear.

Truck is a beater truck which is what I needed at the time. Has hail damage on roof and hood.

I am into it for almost $4,500 including purchase, title, tax, registration, parts and the auto garage stuff I had done. Wife says no more.

It has pretty good bones overall. Just needs a better mechanic.

Sorry for the long ad - I have put everything I could think of here so anyone buying this truck would have all the information I have discovered and could make a decision based on their mechanical ability. It does run and you could probably drive it away if not too far but it will stall when leaving a stop at times and misses sometimes while driving at speed - I would advise having it towed for safety but I have driven worse.
