Used 1992 Ford F250 XLT OBS 92k 7 5l CLEAN ready to tow for sale in Colorado Springs, CO

Up for sale is my 1992 Ford F250 XLT OBS truck with 92k miles in amazingly clean condition. It is white over blue cloth interior. My wife and I bought this truck to tow our 28’ 5th wheel, however we sold the 5th wheel so we no longer need the truck. It is not a show truck, but is a clean honest truck in nearly original condition. Please note that it is 2wd. This is the perfect truck for someone wanting a classic well built Ford that has been fully sorted, and is going to use the truck.

During our ownership we have done a bit of maintenance without changing the factory original condition except in a few key areas. Whenever I own a vehicle I try to use NOS or genuine OEM parts. We put on new General Grabber tires in the factory size less than 4k miles ago. These tires are fantastic and look the part without being noisy on the highway. They have a transferrable warranty from Discount Tire. We also put on new brakes, and changed out the ABS module. The only modification that we made is to install a larger transmission cooler, with upgraded transmission seal and transmission temp gauge. When we were towing the 5th wheel we consulted with the Ford gurus and they recommended these items. They were all installed by an ASAE certified mechanic. We also recently had the cooling system overhauled by an ASAE master gold mechanic. I am happy to put you in touch with my mechanic if you want to discuss vehicle condition and work done.

The interior is in excellent condition with no rips or tears, never been smoked in with everything working perfectly. The AC blows cold. All of the door locks, window switches, wipers, cruise etc all work as they should. The gear indicator is accurate (super common on these trucks for that to break) with NOS gauge glass without any scratches or discoloring. The dash is in perfect condition with no warping or tears and still has the original radio that works properly.

Mechanically the truck is in great condition. It starts and runs every time I turn the key. It tracks straight and true and drives like a new truck. The engine is the 7.5l (460) V8 with the automatic transmission and 4.10 rear gears. It is a 2WD truck and towed our 5th wheel without any issues. The sale does include a Tekonsha P3 brake controller and the rails to mount your 5th wheel hitch to the frame. We bought it from a lovely lady in Washington State who used it to tow their 5th wheel before her husband passed away. I have included the CarFax showing it to be a clean title with only 3 owners previous to me. It has the twin fuel tanks with switch in the cab (how rad is that!?).

The body is straight and true with no previously reported accidents. The paint has patina to it and is consistent with age and mileage and is completely original. You may be able to buff the clear coat to a shine, but there are quite a few dents, dings, and nicks, that would need to be addressed before you could show the truck. There’s a dent around the diameter of a baseball that has a small amount of surface rust as well as a dent on the tailgate. Overall the paint is honest but not show quality. There’s no other rust on the body and the wheel arches are solid. The frame also appears solid showing only minor surface corrosion but no structural rust of any kind. The truck is located in Colorado Springs, but I would be willing to deliver the truck anywhere in the country for the right buyer who has paid prior to delivery. I have driven it on 1000+ mile road trips and it drives flawlessly. Vehicle is currently stored indoors in a climate-controlled garage.
